**Medical Scientific Liaison Oncology - North Germany (f/m/d)**

Region: Flensburg - Kiel - Hamburg - Celle - Bremen - Oldenburg - Cuxhaven

Focus will be on
- Identify and develop relationships with national and regional medical and scientific KOLs consistent with the strategy and objectives of Medical Affairs and overall Ipsen strategies
- Engage in scientific exchange and education about current and emerging therapies in a compliant fashion with KOLs (to include advisory boards, individual meetings, and congresses)
- Develop and maintain scientific, clinical and therapeutic expertise in the areas of Oncology
- Represent the company at specific continuing medical educational events, programs, medical meetings and scientific conventions
- Work with clinical development as requested to identify and engage with appropriate sites for Ipsen trials and identify disease concepts that can be leveraged into product differentiation
- Differentiate Ipsen as the valued scientific partner of choice through innovative initiatives, coordinated strategy, and scientific communication
- Provide appropriate scientific, clinical, and educational support for internal cross functional customers (including other members of the MSL team)
- Support medical publications as needed (abstracts, manuscripts, etc.)
- Support commercial operations by participating in Speaker and Representative Training
- Lead/participate on special project teams as necessary
- Support cross-functional teams to ensure operations are patient-focused, including rapidly responding to internal and external requests to discuss specific situations and challenges and provide medical affairs support to all stakeholders

Qualification requires
- Advanced Scientific, healthcare or medical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) is required
- Medical/paramedical Practice or Research career (hospital and/or hospital related, university research, pharmaceutical industry research or medical affairs)
- Previous holding of an MSL or related role with at least 2 years’ experience
- Previous and recent experience in Oncology is an advantage
- Proven experience and successful track record as an MSL or medical department professional in a previous company
- Experience in delivery of scientific presentations and development of relationships with Thought Leaders
- Demonstrated expertise in ability to synthesize and communicate medical information clearly
- Knowledge in data analysis and statistics as well as legal, regulatory, and compliance regulations and guidelines
- Teamplayer with solution-oriented approach and good communication skills
- Ability to travel ~ 60-80% (based on the size of respective geography)
- Business fluent in German and English
