As a **People Operations and Experience Partner**, you will be at the heart of ensuring a seamless employee experience at our Hamburg office while driving efficient People Operations. This full-time role (40 hours per week) is designed for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment. You will oversee HR compliance, payroll processes, employee experience and office management, ensuring a productive and positive workplace experience. This position requires a hands-on, people-first approach and the ability to work closely with stakeholders across the organization.
**What you'll be responsible for**:
- Acting as a trusted advisor to employees and management on all People Operations related matters.
- Ensuring compliance with German employment laws, payroll processes, and HR best practices.
- Managing People operations, policies, and procedures across multiple HR systems.
- Leading employee engagement initiatives, including events, recognition programs, and wellbeing activities.
- Overseeing payroll administration and benefits programs in accordance with German labor regulations.
- Managing relationships with external providers, including payroll and benefits vendors.
- Supporting workforce planning, on-boarding, and off-boarding processes.
- Handling employee relations cases and conflict resolution with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Driving office management responsibilities, including vendor management, supplies, and ensuring a well-functioning work environment.
- Organizing and facilitating company events, training sessions, and team-building activities.
- Analyzing HR data to provide insights and drive informed decision-making.
**What you need**:
- 3-5 years of experience in people operations, HR business partnering, or a similar role in Germany.
- Strong knowledge of German labor law, payroll, and HR compliance.
- Business level fluency in English and German
- Experience with HR systems (Personio experience is a plus).
- Proven experience in payroll preparation for external processing.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Hands-on experience in office management, employee engagement, and workplace culture initiatives.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Must be able to commute to our office in Hamburg.
