**Start** **N/A** **Duration** **4-6 months** We are seeking an experienced professional for the comprehensive operation and continuous development of the Splunk SIEM platform. This role encompasses both "Plan & Build" and "Operations" functions with the aim of ensuring and enhancing the security, availability, and scalability of the SIEM infrastructure. **Main Responsibilities**: - Operation and development of the Splunk SIEM platform (24/7) - Onboarding of new log sources including parsing and normalization (CIM model) - Automated deployment and scaling using Ansible & Terraform - Incident, change, and problem management according to ITSM standards - Execution of patch and release management (up to 12 minor, 1 major per year) - Creation of dashboards, reports, and SOPs - Support for the SOC team through automation and threat analytics - User and role management (JML processes) - Archiving and restoring logs **Key Requirements**: - Extensive experience with Splunk SIEM (operations & engineering) - Solid knowledge in log onboarding, CIM model, parsing - Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) - Knowledge in network security and system hardening - Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call services - Excellent German and English language skills - Experience with ITSM processes and security standards **Other Details**: Location: Stuttgart/Remote Start: by agreement
