About the Job

We’re looking for an experienced VP of Marketing (M/F/d) to join one of our Portfolio companies and build its global Marketing strategies.
In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on partnering with the C-level and founding team to build the marketing function and you’ll get the opportunity to contribute to various projects.

**Join our portfolio company**: A German FoodTech company focused on guaranteeing convenient, affordable, same-day grocery delivery via an intuitive app. A European leader in ethnic food and household products, the startup is already active in several cities across the country.

**In this role, you’ll**:

- Hire, develop and retain a diverse team of top talent marketing professionals
- Build and scale CRM, Promotions & Referrals, Brand, Product and Analytics marketing strategies and implementation
- Drive Customer Acquisition (Paid Social, Paid Search, SEO & ASO, Affiliates, Display etc), retention and brand recognition across Europe
- Ensure a highly creative and performance driven team culture
- Operate in a data and KPI driven manner to build brand and acquisition tracking tools, attribution model and reporting systems to monitor the growth and performance of marketing activities
- Be the key driver in optimising the entire customer journey with functional overlaps in Product, Commercial, Operations and other business stakeholders
- Effectively manage the marketing budget across all channels

Your Profile
- 8+ years of senior marketing experience in high-growth consumer facing brands
- Strong knowledge of Growth and Performance marketing channels (CRM, Paid Search, Paid Social, Offers, Analytics, Promotions & Referrals) ideally in an internationally scaling, B2C, app-based business
- Good understanding of Brand strategy including Positioning, Content, Asset Creation and Influencer marketing
- Ability to drive holistic marketing by integrating innovative performance strategies
- Experience in handling upwards of 6-digit/monthly marketing budgets
- You are highly organised, have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy working hands-on to deliver results
- Open and transparent communication skills in English - You can work with all levels and stakeholders from interns to founders

Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
