To strengthen our team in Tübingen near Stuttgart, we are currently looking to recruit a
**(Senior) Director Project Management Office / PMO**:
**Your responsibilities**:
- Disciplinary and functional leadership of company´s Portfolio Management Office Team (PMO) including goal setting, people empowerment and development
- Define, establish and roll-out state-of-the-art business and portfolio management processes and secure excellence in portfolio execution in alignment with strategic portfolio management
- Develop and maintain the corporate portfolio management tools (IT solutions, governance, resources, budget and controlling, risk management)
- Coordination of corporate portfolio management cycles aligned with the annual business cycle
- Set up market and competitor intelligence databases and establish key value driver identification for a customized NPV for early vs. late-stage drug development and investment projects
- Include KPIs across all levels of the project & program portfolio as defined
- Ensure adequate resource allocation and prepare portfolio reports, dashboards and presentations for the extended Management Board and Supervisory Board
**Your qualifications**:
- University degree (Master / Diploma) in science / medicine or business administration, ideally with PhD or MBA or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of proven track record in a leading role in the life science industry with a broad focus on portfolio-/project management, industrial/franchise product lead, CMC/drug development and/or product launch across different therapeutic areas
- Sound experience in project/program management office, project controlling and reporting, resource management and risk management in an agile and rapidly evolving environment
- Certifications in PMP, PRINCE2 and/or Six Sigma are beneficial
- Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills
- Motivating leadership attitude by challenging the status quo and driving transformation/ leading by influence
- Strong business acumen and performance-orientation combined with a strong hands-on approach
- Resilient and self-motivating personality with excellent communication skills across all levels
- Profound IT skills (MS Office, project-planning/MS Project, Power BI, databases, SAP), risk management tools
- Fluency in English, additional language skills (German, French) are a plus
