**Clarification from the agency**:
U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation. US resident alien family members of US sponsors who are citizens of NATO countries other than the host nation and possess a valid green card and US Social Security Number (SSN).

**Duties**:

- Works under the direction of the Facility Manager who provides general instructions, standard procedures, overall priorities and policies, and relies on the incumbent to control work operations and accomplish an adequate quantity and quality of work.
- Serves as the technical and administrative supervisor over auto shop operations exercising full supervisory responsibility over work operations.
- Ensures monthly inventories of controlled property are performed and reports discrepancies to supervisor as they occur.
- Assists patrons with automotive repair and independently performs automotive repair as required.

- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- This position may require a health screening. Immunizations may be required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility.
- Must be able to physically able to bend, lift, and work in awkward positions.
- Frequently lifts parts and equipment weigh up to 20 pounds. And occasionally lift and carry, items that weigh to 70 pounds.
- Must possess a valid driver's license as required by local/state.
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts to include nights, weekends.

1. Experience and training that provide the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform the duties of this position consistent with accepted practices of the trade.
2. Ability to use and maintain appropriates tools and equipment.
4. Demonstrated ability to lead and/or supervise.

**Best Qualifying Criteria**
1. Possess one (1) year DoD MWR management experience in the Auto Skills arena.

**PCS Costs**
- Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest.

**FWS Allowances and Differentials**
- All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
- Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800.

**Incentives and Bonuses**
- Incentives will not be paid.

**Foreign Overseas Allowances**
- Allowances will be paid.These allowances may include Living Quarters Allowance (LQA), Temporary Quarters Subsistence Allowance (TQSA) and requires a Transportation Agreement in accordance (IAW) the provisions of the Department of States Standardized Regulations (DSSR).
- Post allowance may be paid in accordance with the Department of States Standardized Regulations (DSSR), contingent upon eligibility.
