**Title**:
Accounts Payable Associate

**Job Purpose**:
Process supplier invoices for payment

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Proper coding of supplier invoices
- Inform stakeholders of pass-through charges for billing
- Verify charge amounts against agreed supplier tariffs
- Verify charge types are accurate and match against the work performed as recorded in Maestro
- Secure credit notes from suppliers for overcharges
- Use sound cost accounting procedures to accurately allocate costs to shipments
- Liaise with operations and other Marken offices as needed
- Ad hoc tasks as required

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant AP experience a must
- Logistics industry experience preferable, specialist courier experience desirable
- Experience in healthcare or related industry a plus
- Highly organized and professional with excellent communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills preferred
- Must have a desire to learn, work independently, and possess strong problem-solving skill
- Fluent spoken and written communication skills in German and English
