**Job Description**:
The Trainee Process and Market Expert is in charge to develop best possible sorting and recycling technologies mainly to ensure materials getting closed loop recycled which today are not recycled. This includes technical and market knowledge combined with an understanding of cost structures. The Business Development Manager has knowledge within the waste and recycling market and knows technologies being used. Good internal and external communication skills are necessary in this position.
- will consult customers and colleagues and develop new solutions within Collection, sorting and recycling of materials.
- will be responsible to develop and support with the extension of existing material recycling segments

**The job in specific**:

- You are responsible for the development of the specific segment within TOMRA
- You are involved in strategy processes, technology development, both from the technical and commercial point of view
- Another task is internal and external consulting, which means that you develop concepts and solutions for customers and our internal colleagues
- You develop markets and segment as a pioneer for material sorting and recycling
- You analyze the performance of existing and new installations, both from a technical point of view and a financial point of view.
- Conducting training for colleagues in different departments (Sales, project Management etc.) is also part of your responsibilities
- Support and active participation in conferences, congresses and exhibitions

**Qualifications**:

- Good understanding of waste and recycling markets, also of environmental legislation is of advantage
- Good communication skills with customers and colleagues and cross-cultural competence are needed
- Creative and innovative - willing and able to question the status quo and to develop new ideas and solutions
- Used to work in an international context across Europe, USA, Asia.
- Fluent in German and English language.
