Master Thesis: Cross-european Adaptation Measure

The EU's regions are developing climate adaptation strategies to tackle the localised impacts of climate change. However, adaptation efforts at the regional level can vary widely in scope and effectiveness. The thesis topic is aimed at evaluating the feasible adaptation measures, at a local scale.
**Your Job**:
- WP1 - Literature review on existing adaptation measures: Documenting the measures along with the costs of implementation
- WP2 - Integration of measures into an existing measure optimization model
- WP3 - Use the model and data to analyze the regional impact of the measures on effective adaptation to climate change
**Your Profile**:
- Very good academic record and currently enrolled in a master’s program in natural science, computer science, engineering or a related field of study
- Very good Python (or other) programming skills
- Good written and spoken English skills
- High interest in climate change-related topics
- You are highly motivated to work on the topic and able to work independently and analytically
- You have a high degree of self-organization and time management skills
