**Job Purpose**

Support the expansion of Tetra Tech’s presence in Europe and Eurasia by serving its existing projects, act as a hub for additional growth in the region utilizing proven energy sector experience and help power a just energy transition for all.

As the Clean Energy Transition Associate, Europe, you will have the chance to be part of a newly formed team tasked with managing, sourcing, and executing consulting engagements focused on energy sector projects, initiatives, or policies to drive the energy and climate transition.

Working with other members of our team, you will support project implementation, particularly in Europe & Eurasia, with a focus on decarbonization and clean energy markets, policies, regulation and strategies.

During your time with us, you will also have the opportunity to provide guided support to business development activities, with a view to collaborating on new opportunities and approaches for new clients.

The location of this position will be in Berlin, Germany, or remote.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, political science, law, economics, environmental sciences or similar.
- 2 years of experience in the energy sector, preferably with consulting experience, working with a variety of clients.
- Understanding of the European energy market, and related regulatory framework (energy acquis).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Willingness to travel internationally to project locations and conferences.
- Experience working for or collaborating with international donor funded projects.
- Acquainted with renewable energy and green hydrogen, energy markets, auction schemes and power or gas utilities.
- Oral and written communication skills in German, French or Spanish.
