To support our field service team, we are looking for a dedicated **Vibration Engineer** **(M/F/d)** for the carrying ot measurements at our turbo compressors and expansion turbines **at our customers' sites worldwide.**

**The Role**

Preparation of measurements
- Preparation of vibration, sound, pressure, temperature and capacity measurements
- Compilation of the necessary target data from existing working documents and consultation with the design department
- Clarification of the availability of the necessary measuring equipment on site and, if necessary, supplementary taking along from ACE stock
- Organization and coordination of customer visits and working procedures in cooperation with the construction department
- Preparation of vibration, sound, pressure, temperature and capacity measurements in the course of operating data analysis

Carrying out the measurements
- Performance of measurements at the customer's site according to specifications in cooperation with the design department
- Set-up of vibration, pressure sound, temperature and capacity measuring instruments/testing devices
- Recording of data at different operating conditions, according to the possibilities
- Data backup and dismantling of the measuring/testing devices
- Consulting with the supervisor about the measurement results and agreeing on the further procedure
- Execution of the measurements in the course of an operating data analysis at the customer's site upon customer request
- Inventory of relevant operating data according to operating instructions/maintenance/inspection regulations
- Data backup and dismantling of the measuring/testing equipment

Data processing, documentation/reporting
- Arranging and recording of data in lists and diagrams
- Compare actual data with target data from operating instructions and/or design documents
- Investigation of deviation(s), in case of problems in cooperation with design and, if necessary, with the supervisor
- Participation in the development of a solution proposal in the case of a problem, in cooperation with the design department and with the supervisor
- Documentation of all collected data and preparation of a detailed technical report for the customer as well as the superior and the construction internally

**What we expect of you?**
