**Summary/Objective**:
The Production Assistant serves as a shared resource between both plants and supports production. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented, accurate, and highly organized individual who excels in communication and collaboration with employees and leaders at all levels. Responsibilities include handling inventory within production to include liners and covers, producing artwork and print plates, and ordering supplies such as ink and scrappers.

**Essential Functions**:

- Provides direct support to production managers.
- Creates artwork based upon customer specifications using Adobe Illustrator.
- Orders print plates from approved customer artwork and maintains print plate inventory.
- Maintains daily inventory of liners and covers and communicates appropriately for reordering.
- Order and maintain ink supplies, scraper bars, saw blades, knife blades, and other production supplies as needed.
- Order and maintain glue inventory and usage analysis.
- Completes paper and core quality testing to include crush tests.
- Communicates with outside vendors regarding quality concerns.
- Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretion.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Hours: Monday through Friday 7AM-4PM

Position starts at $26.00/hr.
