(Senior) UX Designer

This position can be filled in Berlin, Bad Homburg or Schweinfurt. Up to 80% Remote Work is possible as well.

**Job description**:
**Position Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with vertical product management (InCenter, Home & Critical Care) as well as engineering to define and implement best-in-class user-centric design, visuals and experience for digital products
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
- Design, set up, run and analyze usability studies, A/B testing, focus groups and customer interviews
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards and contribute to the global Fresenius Design Community
- Identify appropriate qualitative research tools to gather objective user feedback (e.g., surveys, usability testing, user and stakeholder interviews)
- Work with outside consultants to define research projects
- Partner with product and engineering teams in the design, execution, and delivery of features
- Bring UX practices including research, solution design, and interaction to the team
- Recruit targeted end-users for specific research studies
- Translate user insights into actionable recommendations for the product team

**Job requirements**:
**Critical Experience**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer interaction or a comparable
- Minimum 5+ years demonstrated track record of delivering UX design for digital solutions solving user-centric problems, preferably in the healthcare sector
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experienced with ethnographic and observational methods usability testing and other approaches (benchmarking, competitive analyses, diary studies, remote testing)
- Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools and configuration instruments like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in idea ideation, plan procedure, and prototyping
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system inteaction
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
