**Your mission as a Junior Accountant (M/F/d)**
- As a Junior Accountant at Appinio GmbH, you'll be at the heart of our finance operations, helping keep everything running smoothly while driving efficiency and innovation. As part of our Accounting Team, you'll collaborate closely with internal teams such as Sales and Revenue Operations to ensure accurate financial processes and support the company's growth.
- You'll also have the opportunity to play an **integral role in the finance team of one of the fastest-growing market research companies in Europe**, contributing to key financial operations and helping shape the way we work. Your mission is to not only maintain our financial records, but also continuously find smarter, faster ways of working.

**What you'll be doing**
- You will **manage outgoing invoices** for Appinio GmbH, working hand-in-hand with Sales and Revenue Operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- You will** own the Dunning Process**, ensuring outstanding payments are tracked and resolved efficiently
- You will **support and optimize financial ledgers**, constantly looking for smarter ways to reduce manual work and speed up processes
- You will** assist with month-end and year-end closes**, collaborating closely with our future Accounting Team Lead to maintain smooth reporting
- You will** challenge the status quo**, identifying and implementing process improvements to make our finance operations more effective and scalable

**You will thrive in this role if**
- You have either **minimum 2 years of experience** in accounting (ideally in a start-up or fast-paced environment) or an **accounting apprenticeship**, preferably with a German Finanzbuchhalter qualification or equivalent.
- You are fluent in English and **proficient in German (C2 level spoken and written)**, with French being a plus
- You are comfortable with **German tax and accounting** standards
- You have an in-depth understanding of **business accounting procedures**:

- You are comfortable with and understand the benefits of AI in finance
- You are adept at learning, implementing, and using new tools
- You constantly look for better ways of working and don't settle for repeating manual tasks
- You are ideally located in EU
