**About your role**:

- You develop and maintain a high-performance API for real-time data access
- You integrate data processing modules and ensure standardized data delivery
- You integrate services with authentication and authorization infrastructure using Helmholtz-ID (OAuth2/OpenlD Connect)
- You containerize services and manage their deployment on Kubernetes
- You set up CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and logging integration, and infrastructure-as-code workflows (e.g. ArgoCD, Helm)
- You ensure scalability, reliability, and performance for large-scale data streaming systems

**About you**:

- You hold an MSc degree in a natural science or have equivalent skills and experience
- You bring a strong background in backend development (Python with FastAPl/Flask/Django, Go or C++)
- You possess solid understanding of cloud technologies, like Containerisation, Kubernetes and Microservices
- You bring proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and infrastructure automation
- Experience with authentication systems (e.g., OAuth2, Keycloak) is a plus
- You have an interest in scientific data workflows, which is highly valued
