We're looking for a hands-on Pilot Plant Technician (f/m/x) to strengthen our product development team If you have practical experience in food production on a lab, pilot, or industrial scale—ideally with cheese or dairy products—and are passionate about innovative foods, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Your main responsibility will be conducting trials and producing prototypes of our animal-free cheese products. You'll work closely with experts from various fields and become part of a dynamic Berlin-based startup. Sounds exciting? We’d love to hear from you

**What you will be doing**
- Conduct trials and produce samples of our animal-free cheese products at both lab and pilot scales
- Ensure that quality standards are met and guarantee the food safety of all samples
- Document and communicate results, providing recommendations for next steps
- Be responsible for the pilot plant, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and remains in top condition—this includes cleaning, maintaining machines, and performing minor repairs
- Be familiar with the machines and equipment in the pilot plant, and collaborate closely with our food scientists and product developers to efficiently scale our processes
- Assist with inventory counts for incoming products
- Successfully completed vocational training as a dairy technologist, dairy specialist, or food technology specialist (f/m/x), or a comparable qualification such as CTA, BTA, or MTA
- Practical experience in the dairy industry or in food research and development is a plus
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
- Good English skills, both written and spoken
