Our graduate program takes twenty-four months and splits in 3 assignments, each 8 months long. In the first and the last assignment you are located in Germany, and in the second one you will gain experience at one of our international sites.
Your initiative will determine the amount of your responsibility in the projects. The program offers you excellent opportunities to grow fast and start your professional career at Continental.
As Advanced Purchaser (M/F/diverse) you are Purchasing Representative in the quote
- and project team from acquisition phase to project SOP and responsible for all material specific topics, in detail for:
Commercial evaluation of the material - BOM (Bill of Material) for specific products of Business Area Architecture & Networking
Calculation of Bill-of-Material (BOM) in quote and development phase
Responsible for material target achievement
Supporting cost-optimization-concepts
Implementing and transferring Continental's material strategy into project
Continuous exchange and alignment of Business Area strategy with supplier and material strategy with Category Purchasing and R&D
Maximising Project profitability through continuous and consequent supplier management
**Qualifications**:
Excellent bachelor or master’s degree in business administration or engineering
At least 6 months of practical experience in an
industrial related working field through internships,
(part
- or full-time) employment
