With aims to be the global market leader and trusted authority on the buying and selling of whisky and spirits at auction we are building a team to support our strategic aims of making the market more accessible to all and sharing our passion for connecting these bottles to our customers.
**The Role**
The position of Warehouse Assistant will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and will work closely with all teams within Wine, Rum and Whisky Auctioneer.
Key deliverables in this role will include (but not limited to):
- Carefully package high value bottles to be shipped to customers globally.
- Assist with organizing shipments of alcohol around the world.
- Assist with carrying out customer collections in Europe.
- Accurately log incoming and out-going customers bottles.
- Receive deliveries from couriers and customers.
- Carry out general warehouse tasks.
- Stock take and replenishment.
- Deliver on KPIs.
- General housekeeping.
- Assist other departments, such as Customer Service when required.
**Job Requirements**
- You will likely have experience in a similar role.
- As this office is a new addition to Whisky Auctioneer it is key that the applicant is willing to be flexible in their role as the day to day tasks may vary.
- You will be self-motivated; you want to be part of a business that has big plans and willing to put in the work to help drive that success.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (with emphasis on Microsoft Excel) and the willingness to learn.
- Good IT skills.
- A full EU driving licence will be beneficial.
- English language skills will be beneficial.
**Additional Info, Salary and Benefits **
This is a full-time position. You will be expected to work 40 hours per week.
The working hours are 08:45 to 17:15, Monday to Friday. Some additional evening and weekend work may be required.
We are offering a starting salary of 28,000 euros p/a.
Staff have the opportunity for training (e.g., WSET) and attending industry events and festivals.
