**Company Description**
We are looking for a**Junior Market Research Specialist - Automotive (d/m/w) to join our Group Inventory Management Team, that is responsible for the steering of a variety of projects, managing processes and supporting with insightful analysis on the inventory for all European markets in our AUTO1 Group Operations Department. In this Department we ensure smooth processes by combining operational thinking with strategic skill. AUTO1 Group is Europe’s leading digital automotive platform.
- Work closely with our analytics team and our car enthusiasts in every country to identify and mitigate inventory risks
- Monitor automotive industry news, develop processes for independent research, and proactively identify risks in car trade.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to create new reports that assess exposure levels and oversee inventory monitoring activities until threats are fully mitigated.
- Analyse our low turn units and suggest, test and roll out improvements to minimise loss
- Collaborate with various business and technology teams to help design and monitor new processes and strategies
- Support the growth of new projects by taking responsibility for specific tasks and contributing to team goals

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, finance, or a related field
- 6 months of internship or working student experience in a related field (market research, business analytics, or similar)
- General understanding of the automotive industry, vehicle pricing, a passion for cars and e-commerce
- Basic experience in data analysis and market research, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Sheets;
- Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus
