For our growing Ocean department, we are looking for a full time Ocean coordinator Import and/or Export

The Ocean Coordinator is responsible for processing import shipments while coordinating and maintain excellent customer service. The goal will be to achieve high accuracy through our global forwarding systems to ensure high productivity and operational excellence.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Pre-advise Handling FCL /LCL / Ro-Ro / Breakbulk shipments
- Create / process Jobs in our Global Freight Management system
- Responsible for reviewing all documents,
- Generate invoice
- Demurrage management
- Transfer / handle files to brokerage
- Verifies that shipments are processed through customs systems
- Arrange transport as per clients requirements
- Notify exceptions to clients and management
- Handle the day-to-day operations of the ocean department to ensure that customer requirements are met
- Responsible for communicating information and instructions to/from vendors
- Other duties as assigned by management

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum 1 years of experience with the Port of Rotterdam as Ocean coordinator/ freight forwarder
- Customs Brokerage experience preferred
- Completed education Manager Haven Logitech, level 4.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills., Dutch & English
- Strong knowledge of Inco, and shipping terms

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**

Dutch and English are the principal language for this position. This position requires good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
