Join Gilead and help create possible, together. We are looking for a strategic and experienced learning & development professional to join our Commercial Operations team as Associate Director, CL&D. This is a senior individual contributor role with high visibility and impact across the German affiliate driving conceptual development and leading cross-functional projects. The position will report to the Sr. Director Commercial Operations. Key Responsibilities: - Act as strategic business partner to commercial functions, translating business needs into impactful learning solutions as conceptual lead within the CL&D team - Design and implement and deliver training programs across sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams. - Drive the integration of omnichannel and digital competencies into our commercial capabilities. - Collaborate closely with global CL&D to align and localize global initiatives. - Coordinate onboarding, launch readiness, and continuous development programs. - Manage external training partners and vendors to ensure high-quality delivery. - Represent CL&D in cross-functional and global projects and contribute to commercial excellence. Your Profile: - Extensive experience in pharma/biotech, ideally in commercial training or education. - Strong knowledge & experience of the German healthcare landscape - Strong conceptual and strategic thinking, with hands-on execution skills. - Proven ability to lead in a matrix environment and influence without authority. - Experience in designing and delivering diverse learning formats (F2F, virtual, e-learning). - High affinity for digital tools and omnichannel engagement. - Fluent in German and English.
