Senior Cloud Database Administrator

**The Team**:
Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Engineering

**The Role**:
You should have a minimum of 6 years of experience operating PostgreSQL at scale. Azure experience is strongly preferred.

**The qualifications you need**:
Database Administrator Responsibilities:

- Enhance and perform monitoring for the fleet to ensure smooth operation
- Work closely with Azure support
- Perform debugging on PostgreSql system issues, for example, vacuum performance
- Document processes related to database management, configuration and maintenance
- Keep the fleet up to date with latest PostgreSql versions

Database Administrator Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, or similar
- In-depth knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and SQL statement performance tuning
- A minimum of 6 years hands-on experience in PostgreSql database operations
- Sound knowledge of best practices in database administration and modeling and data security
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
