**Explore your tasks and responsibilities**:

- You establish the department Engineering Bio Life Sciences (BLS) within Exyte Central Europe (CE) to build technical capacities
- You’ll prepare a department strategy related to the scope in projects, skillset of employees
- You’ll prepare a staffing plan and recruit required resources together with HR
- You oversee and manage the resource planning and resources utilization across related offices within CE
- You overlook performance in project execution and introduce corrective measures if required
- You perform cold eye reviews in projects related to Engineering in the area of Bio Life Sciences
- You contribute to proposal management, - preparation and - review
- You set up and control department budget
- You define, prepare and train standards, SOP’s, workflows within the field of your responsibility
- You support to standardize systems, tools and SOPs
- You also actively work as a Senior Engineer in projects, lead and control external engineering subcontractors or construction subcontractors

**Show your expertise**:

- With 10+ years’ experience in a complex technical environment (ideally BLS) and a technical training background (e.g. Engineer, BSc, Technician or BEng) you are now looking for a new team to lead and share your expertise with
- With your broad knowledge from many inter-/multinational projects, you convince with your deep technical knowledge of complex endeavors
- As the leader of your team, you are an active, positive and supportive contributor who builds consensus and resolves conflicts, but also enables people to develop their skills and abilities
- You are customer orientated, building long-lasting relationships with customers and also know how to build your network internally within the company
- Your ability to develop and execute competitive solutions is impressive and although having acted in leading roles for quite some time, you still remain technically competent in the applicable fields
- You possess strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English and impress with your exceptional organization and coordination skills
- High willingness to travel is self-evident for you
