**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- In your new role, you will define, document and communicate HW/SW/optical system architectures in collaboration with technical experts.
- You will carry out feasibility, requirements as well as impact analyses and convert requirements into viable technical concepts and architectures.
- Moreover you will coordinate and define interfaces with internal development teams and suppliers. Therefore you will also be responsible for the technical coordination of cross-groups and architecture-related tasks.
- In your responsibility will be the management and implementation of concept and model tests as well as the creation and presentation of technical concepts.
- You will also work closely with customers, product management and business development to define customer and market strategy as well as technical roadmaps.
- Last but not least you will support the tracking and acquisition processes as well as requirements analyses and compliance traceability.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Degree in electrical engineering or physics
- several years of professional experience
- ability to confidently grasp, evaluate and formulate complex topics/questions
- proven ability to lead and coordinate internal and external specialist groups
- ability to work in a sometimes fast-paced environment
- experience of working with clients to develop creative solutions
- good presentation skills
- good command of German and English
