Global Supply Chain Excellence Director

Huntsman’s Advanced Materials Division is seeking a Global Supply Chain Excellence Director for our Frankfurt office.

E2E Process Excellence

Own and drive changes towards better processes in parts of Advanced Material Supply Chain organization for e.g., Order to Cash as well as P2P processes in close collaboration with Sales and operational functions such as Manufacturing, Procurement as well as regional/local Supply Chain.

Data analytics

Establish and drive capability to analyze SC data division-wide to reveal efficiency potentials, creating AdMat SC “analytics hub”.

Help to provide unified data-basis to ensure group-wide data standard, which is also used for controlling purposes by SC Excellence.

Subject matter expertise

Drive and build-up central team consisting of area experts in 3 different areas, helping dedicated functional executing personnel to improve their decision making on regional and local level.

Major expertise areas:

- Logistics,
- Planning,
- Customer Service.

Performance Management

Work in coordination with functional leads to select the right SC KPIs as well as set the right target levels to be achieved. Also track and control success and fulfilment of these SC KPIs.

Technology

Create central capability from scratch, scouting for trends and assessing technology (in SC) for potential benefit and business impact. Closely work with IT to push for the latest and greatest tech solutions with the best use of CAPEX and OPEX

Project Management

Ensure directly or through team the delivery of all improvement and change projects following best proactive project management including project charters, milestones definition and tracking.

Required Qualifications

Education
- Master’s degree or equivalent either in Business, Chemistry, Engineering or Supply Chain,

Experience
- 10 years of professional experience in the field, optimally in chemicals,
- Experience in controlling group wide operational KPIs,
- APICS or SCOR experience and SC KPI knowledge required,
- Profound knowledge on newest trends and tech. improving SC efficiency and effectiveness required,
- SAP / ERP software process knowledge advantage.

Skills & Knowledge
- Commercial exposure, proven track record in SC optimization,
- Language skills: Fluent in English, French and German a plus,
- Celonis or similar tool on process mining beneficial,
- Demand management, process excellence, Warehousing & Distribution,
- Knowledge of Business needs and Customer Service Level,
- Understanding of commercial priorities,
- Demonstrated in Inventory management,
- High focus on data and metrics,
- Process mining experience of implementation and delivery,
- Project management and deeply process oriented,
- End-to-End optimization and process design.
