About the Job
We’re looking for a Lead Solution Architect to join our team and make a real impact You’ll contribute to cutting-edge projects that are shaping the future of our company and the industry. Be responsible for leading a team of architects in defining and maintaining the high-level structure of software systems to ensure alignment with business goals, technical requirements, and long-term scalability. This role involves evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies in line with Allianz Partners' standards, designing system architecture, and providing guidance to development teams throughout the software lifecycle. The Lead Solution Architect collaborates closely with the CTO as well as the respective Domain leads to ensure a consistent and robust solution to meet the simplesurance business strategy and objectives. This position plays a critical role in setting technical direction, promoting best practices, and ensuring the architectural integrity of products and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design scalable and secure software architecture that aligns with business goals and supports long-term growth.
- Tech Leadership: Evaluate and select appropriate technologies to ensure system efficiency, maintainability, future-proofing and compliance, including internal corporate standards.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with delivery teams to keep everyone aligned and on track.
- Problem Solver: Tackle technical issues as they arise and come up with smart, effective solutions.
- Clear Documentation: Keep track of design choices, architecture, and progress to ensure everything is well documented and traceable.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes growth, accountability, and technical excellence.
