Our work depends on Network Administrator Senior joining our team to serve as the communications focal point for all Air Force communications units in the USAFE-AFAFRICA AOR. ECs assist with exercising positive control over the USAFE-AFAFRICA cyberspace domain and operations.

HOW A **EITEN MCCC EVENT CONTROLLER **WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Monitor and report status of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Collaboration, and Intelligence (C5I) networks and tactical systems.

Receive, monitor, coordinate, facilitate and lead cross-organizational troubleshooting and repair actions.

Coordinate fault isolation and restoral activities with external agencies, Tech Control Facilities, and Communications Focal Points (CFP).

Assist customers (e.g. unit CFP, TCFs, Comm Squadrons, etc.) with communications issues or outage resolutions with external/reach-back organizations (e.g., HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA A6, DISA, EUCOM/AFRICOM Enterprise Operations Center (EOC), etc.).

Serve as EUCOM/AFRICOM (EOC) focal point for all theatre communications and cyber-related HAZCONs, outages, and activities.

Coordinate and report Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs).

Coordinate and report MAJCOM Periods of Non-Disruption (PONDs).

Track and support tactical units during contingencies, exercises and engagements.

Provide command-wide situational awareness on the USAFE-AFAFRICA portion of the AF Information Network (AFIN) and correlate communication capability disruptions with operational impacts (e.g. Commander’s Critical Information Requirements (CCIR)).

Prepare/provide a daily Theater Comm Systems briefing to the HQ USAFE-AFAFRICA/A6.

Develop and prepare a variety of correspondence and other documentation to include bullet background papers, briefings, position papers, reports, memorandums, implementation plans/project service agreements, and staff summary packages.

This position will require Non-core hours (shift work and potentially on-call support.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
**Minimum Clearance**: Top Secret

TESA eligibility/certification required.

**Required Experience**: This position requires a minimum of three years IT experience. Experience includes increasing responsibilities in communication/information systems operations, monitoring and management. This position requires excellent communications, organizational skills and a high attention-to-detail level. The individual must also be comfortable with collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint and TMT. The use of communications monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds), knowledge of communications management tools is also preferred. Position requires extensive use of secure communications (e.g., SIPRnet, VoSIP, STE, OMNI, IRIDIUM)

**Certifications**: This position does not require any technical certifications. DoD 8570.01M IAT-II certification (e.g., Security+ CE) a plus.

**Minimum Education**: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university which provides substantial knowledge of the information sciences or with a curriculum or major field of study which provides substantial knowledge useful in managing the work specified by the task order(s). Such degrees might be, but should not be limited to, the disciplines of computer science, information systems, physical science, engineering, a mathematics intensive discipline or business.

Education and experience requirements may be substituted with:

- No degree and 11 years of intensive and progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency levels related to the task.
