**Your mission**:
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic **Manufacturing & Supply Chain Specialist**in our Berlin location to manage our company's procurement activities and develop robust sourcing strategies. In this role you will be ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, identifying new supplier opportunities, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The work will include hands-on time and will require flexible and creative problem solving, close work with the assembly
- and prototyping-team in achieving milestones and assisting to maintain a professional quality in our product line.

**Your Roles and Responsibilities will be**:‍**:

- ** Hands-on Sourcing & Cost Efficiency**: Actively procure materials, negotiate deals, and implement cost-saving measures.
- ** Supplier & Network Management**: Directly manage supplier relationships and build out our critical supply network.
- ** Inventory & Order Control**: Oversee inventory, process purchase orders, and ensure seamless material flow.
- ** Prototyping & Machinery Operation**: Operate machinery to create prototypes and bring product designs to life.
- ** Assembly & Production Support**: Contribute directly to product assembly and support overall manufacturing operations.**‍**:

- ** Practical Data & Reporting**: Maintain tracking systems and use data to identify and solve operational issues quickly.

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related technical field.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a similar operations, production, or procurement role, ideally within a manufacturing, hardware, or startup environment.
- Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and contributing to cost-reduction initiatives.
- Practical experience with inventory management systems and purchase order processes.
- Demonstrable experience with prototyping tools or machinery (e.g. 3D printers, CNC, laser cutters, various hand tools).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup culture, where adaptability and proactivity are key.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with practical experience operating various machinery and tools.
- A self-starter who can manage multiple tasks independently and take initiative.
- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support various aspects of our operations.
