To keep pace, we’re looking for someone to take ownership of everything legal, compliance and regulatory across the company.

**The role**
We’re looking for a proactive, pragmatic legal & compliance operator to join us as our first Legal, Compliance & Regulatory Lead, reporting to our CFO. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll own and drive everything from client and partner contracts, to regulatory risk, internal policies, and more.

You’ll be the go-to person for legal and compliance questions across the company — working closely with the CEO, COO, CTO, HR, and others — to ensure our foundations are solid, our risks are managed, and our operations are set up to scale across markets.

You’ll manage commercial contracts with clients (together with our CRO), partners and suppliers, be involved in M&A activity, and take the lead in ensuring we’re compliant with everything from financial regulations to internal governance as we grow. You’ll also have plenty of freedom to shape how things are done — we’ll rely on you to firm up processes, create structure, and make sure we move fast without cutting corners.

**What you'll be doing**
- Own all legal efforts across the business — from client and partner agreements to data and IP
- Lead commercial contract work with clients, partners, suppliers, and other vendors
- Be the main legal and compliance advisor for the leadership team
- Identify and manage regulatory risks across our products and operations
- Work closely with our Head of Custody and COO to navigate licensing, trading, payments, etc.
- Partner with HR, Finance and others on internal policies, employment law, data protection, etc.
- Support and lead legal work for corporate transactions like M&A and funding rounds
- Create the structure, processes and documentation we need to scale with confidence

**Who you are**
- 3-5+ years of relevant legal and/or compliance experience — ideally from fintech, legal firms, brokers or regulated platforms
- Comfortable with both commercial contracts and regulatory frameworks
- Experience across multiple jurisdictions or in cross-border legal work is a big plus
- Understands how to assess and mitigate risk without slowing things down
- Able to go from strategy to detail to action — and excited to roll up your sleeves on the small stuff
- Strong communicator, used to working directly with leadership and cross-functional teams
- Curious, pragmatic and not afraid to challenge how things “have always been done”
