Senior Project Controller

SEGULA Technologies is always looking for new, ingenious, and daring talents worldwide to support all the major industrial actors within the automotive, aeronautics, energy, railway, naval, oil & gas and pharmaceutical sectors. **Job Description**: The position reports to the **Head of Controlling**, in technical, disciplinary and organisational terms. - Further development of our controlling processes, reporting structures and methods. - Development of deviation analyses including the derivation of appropriate measures to ensure the achievement of objectives, including active support of the implementation of measures. - Participation in and management of projects to improve corporate profitability. - Preparation of business cases and ad-hoc analyses as well as active performance and cost management. - Preparation of various operational and strategic reports. - Monthly exchange and discussion of plans, reports and figures with the technical departments and team members. - Participation in the monthly closing, reporting and planning process for the group. - You take on exciting special projects. **Internal control and management** - Actively participates in the implementation of the internal control system. - Exercise preventive financial control by checking the documents introduced in the information system under the essential aspects: legality, reality, necessity, opportunity and in terms of economy. **Financial projects management** - Collects, interprets and models the data in order to carry out the profitability analysis and to ensure the accuracy of the final results, makes the risk analysis. - Provides support for the construction and tracking of lump sum offers. - Ensures the financial prevalence of lump sum offers (margin and commitments verification) in accordance with Segula Group standards. - Follows and reports to the Group the profitability of the projects and proposes their optimization. - Calculates production costs and recognizes revenues based on the degree of advancement of projects. - Implements analytical management accounting **Qualifications**: - 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in an international Group, in services sector. - Fluency in German and English, French is a plus. - Pragmatism, solution oriented. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical accounting issues to less qualified staff or non-finance. - "Hands-on" mentality. - Ability to manage change positively - comfortable with multiple daily responsibilities and with managing change where required. - ** Previous experience in PROJECT CONTROLLING** Additional Information - Successfully completed business studies with a focus on controlling/finance or a comparable qualification, preferably also a certified accountant. - Several years of professional experience in operational and project controlling with presentation experience at MD level, preferably from an industrial or service company. - Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative key figures. - Understanding of balance sheet and cash flow planning. - High affinity for technical topics. - Very good knowledge of ERP, databases and Excel. - Confident appearance, strong communication skills. - A strong hands-on mentality with which you can openly approach and advise your colleagues in the project business. - Good written and spoken English skills. - Experience in an international project environment.
