Join us and let's shape the world of tomorrow together. **What awaits you**: - You will be part of a team of highly motivated "cyber defenders" and make an essential contribution to the effective defence against cyber attacks and threats. - You will become part of a global, multinational team of cyber security experts and shape the development of a secure, networked future for customers and the digital society. - Exciting and challenging tasks await you, ranging from the management of particularly serious cyber security incidents and the management of task forces to the further development of the Cyber Defence internal structure and process organisation. - You are the process manager for one or more of the core processes: Cyber Security Incidents, Customer Security / Abuse Management and Vulnerability Management, - You coordinate the implementation of incident response trainings with various stakeholders and help to continuously develop the team by using "lessons learned". - As Senior Expert Cyber Defence you are the primary contact person for the Cyber Defence team up to the division manager level, with the aim of maintaining the security level for Vodafone Germany. - You create management reports on cyber incidents and threats and provide these to stakeholders up to director level. **What makes you stand out**: - A degree in computer science or business informatics, business administration / economics with a focus on IT or cyber security or a comparable qualified professional training. - High understanding of security risks and adherence to the balance between cyber security and business impact. - Strong communication skills to present complex issues in a simplified manner. - Excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail. - Ability to think outside the box, curiosity or willingness to learn new things. - Strong practical experience in (security) incident management, penetration testing or threat management or comparable activities. - Practical experience in operational IT security management. Experience in working with SOC, NOC or CERT is an advantage. - Willingness to be on-call regularly as Incident Manager-on-Duty. - Ability to identify and implement structural change potential. This position can be full-time or near full-time part-time (minimum 30 hours). Severely disabled applicants will be given special consideration if equally qualified.
