Ready to join us? **About this opportunity** As **UI/UX Designer**, you will have an exciting opportunity to contribute to Diagnostics as a Service on the Align Digital Platform. The vision for Diagnostics as a Service is to acquire patient health data and develop ML models that provide analysis of clinical conditions in support of overall Oral Health. The key stakeholders include patients, general dentists, orthodontists, dental lab technicians, dental service organizations, universities, and public hospitals. As UI/UX Designer you will work with managers, machine learning engineers, data scientists, marketing managers, software engineers, medical domain experts, quality management experts, regulatory experts, and others to guarantee the quality standards of an impactful diagnostics AI products. **In this role, you will** - Create user interaction models, visual designs, and interactive UX/UI prototypes, that can be understood and implemented by the development team. - Develop product requirements and concepts in the form of wireframes and designs. - Support the product team with usability testing to obtain information about human behavior, capabilities, shortcomings, and features to design medical devices and to identify hazards and hazardous situations related to the users and user interfaces. - Prepare and conduct formative and summative usability tests. - Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure an optimal user experience and a safe usage of the medical devices. - Design reviews - you will contribute to design reviews to ensure the team stays in sync and deliverables are of the highest quality. - Work closely with the global design team **In this role, you’ll need ** - Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Interface Design, Media Design, Communication Design, Media Design or Product Design or equivalent experience/training. - 3+ years of professional experience, ideally in the software as a medical device industry. - Extensive experience in interface design and product development. - Strong visual skills and experience working with design systems (style guides and pattern libraries). - Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams actively and effectively. - Proficiency with Figma, whiteboarding, and team collaboration - Very good command of English - Be ready to send your portfolio **Sound like a good fit?** Great Click the "Apply" link to let us know you are interested.
