In the "Hybrid Living" project, Bielefeld University, together with the companies Miele, Hettich and Neura-Robotics, is conducting interdisciplinary research into new technologies and solutions for human-robot collaboration in the kitchen of the future. In particular, a mobile robot is to load and unload dishes from the dishwasher, use intelligent cabinet systems and communicate verbally and non-verbally with users. Bielefeld University's Digital Linguistics Lab offers a PhD position in the field of multimodal human-robot interaction.
