**IMAGINE THE FUTURE WITH ENVALIOR**

As Specialist Accounting at Envalior, you will independently be responsible for the reporting of a legal entity including managing day-to-day accounting activities, monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing, audits and other local compliance.

You will make key contributions to Envalior:

- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP (HGB) and internal guidelines. This includes the preparation, reconciliation and analysis of balance sheets and profit & loss statements on a monthly, quarterly, yearly or project base for both IFRS and local GAAP.
- Responsible focal point for outsourced shared-service provider regarding transactional accounting: ensure delivery and execution of the finance actuals, closing and reporting activities for assigned entity
- Evaluation of business transactions on recognition, valuation and reporting requirement (IFRS, German GAAP, German Tax GAAP)
- Responsible for independent preparation of statutory financial statements according to German local GAAP (HGB) as well as for preparation of all accounting related statutory and legal reports.
- Assist in the preparation of tax accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Act as a primary contact for the legal entity under responsibility for corporate functions, business units, external auditors and other stakeholders.
- Assist management with financial planning including presentations and other ad hoc analysis.

**Requirements**:
**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- Degree in accounting
- Several years of professional experience in an international company or audit firm
- Well-founded knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and German GAAP (HGB)
- Distinct understanding of business contexts with a high affinity for processes as well as goal and solution oriented skills based on practice
- Very good analytical and conceptual skills
- Very good verbal and written communication skills in German and English
- Founded SAP-Knowledge
- High ability to work in an international team, commitment and resilience
