Your tasks
- Foster the creation of ideas to develop innovative components, technology solutions and tire concepts to enable competitive platforms and products. Initiate and support new technology development projects (Steering/Review team) which contribute to Continental's future success
- Trigger material & process developments and ensure evaluation and validation of the technology in cooperation with the material & process development functions
- Maintain roadmaps to keep a transparent overview on the mid
- Generate and document know-how in tire and component performance by building prototypes and/or trigger simulations. With this we foster innovation and enable future component, concepts and technology developments and optimize our future portfolios
- Lead and develop a technically highly qualified staff. Ensure the required continuous training and coaching of employees and their succession planning
**Profile**:
- Academic degree (university of applied science or higher) in engineering, natural science or comparable field
- Previous working experience in the area of technology or tire construction preferred
- Ability to steer technical topics and drive innovation
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
- Very good communication and networking skills
- Strategic, customer and quality orientation
