**ABOUT YOUR ROLE**:
**Main responsibilities**:

- Edit submissions from expert consultants in 14 countries on major political events in the development space to be compiled in a weekly report, disseminated to over 12,000 subscribers at the top levels of government, major international organizations, media outlets, and civil society groups; contribute content to regular newsletters and other publications including analysis of policy trends, based on the monitoring of weekly policy updates;
- Co-develop and independently leverage Donor Tracker and SEEK Development social media campaigns on LinkedIn and Twitter, promoting the firm's products and engaging with peer organizations and stakeholders online to actively grow SEEK and the Donor Tracker's online presence and thought leadership;
- Support editorial and communications teams in reviewing publications that analyze donor finance and policy in global health, climate, education, gender equality, and/or agriculture; and
- Support Donor Tracker team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- C2 English speaker with 3+ years of previous professional experience in journalism or editorial and written communications work; previous work experience in a political organization, NGO, think tank, or consulting firm an asset.
- Current student earning an advanced degree in communications, journalism, international development, political science, international relations, economics, or related field, with a strong knowledge of the broad global development agenda, including the sustainable development goals; sectoral expertise in global health, climate, education, gender equality, and/or agriculture an asset.
- Strong writer and highly organized worker with superb attention to editorial detail; able to work independently, managing tasks from multiple workstreams and managers.
- Digital native with demonstrated experience using social media platforms for business and designing and implementing professional campaigns across LinkedIn and Twitter; experience with graphic design tools, such as Canva and InDesign, and familiarity with markup languages an asset.
