Financial Controller- Zalando Payments

**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
As finance controller in Zalando Payments, you would be able to support new scalable products and create an impact on more than 49 million customers. Your main area of work will be to define and execute ZPS finance controlling strategies in areas such as working capital optimization, capital structure, FX risk hedging, regulatory safeguarding and cash management while mainly focusing on monthly closing as well as financial planning and reporting.

- Connect and collaborate with stakeholders within Zalando especially Accounting and Product Management to understand what is driving our P&L/ costs
- Align with stakeholders on the quality of our reporting and keep further developing it

**WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**:

- You have minimum of 3 years relevant work experience and hold a degree (Bachelor, Master) in Business, Finance or Accounting
- You are well familiar with common BI & MS office tools especially MS Excel, ERP tools like SAP and have a strong sense of Accounting processes. Experience with Google Suite is a plus
- You are curious and open to continuous change, accept uncertainty and actively seek improvements in your area of responsibility. You are brave to experiment and are not distracted from set-backs
- You enjoy making numbers tangible via storytelling
- You are handling your routine work with meticulous attention
- You dive deep into complex analysises of ever-changing drivers and develop your own tools and network for it
