**Your tasks**
- After an initial training period in the relevant software packages, you will develop parametric finite element (FE) models using various modeling approaches.
- You will validate and compare these approaches, selecting the most suitable based on defined criteria.
- You will perform sensitivity and uncertainty analyses to ensure reliable and robust results.
**Your profile**
- You are an enrolled student in the field of mechanical engineering or a similar engineering study, as well as computer science.
- You have basic knowledge of structural mechanics, structural dynamics, and shaft vibrations.
- You have good knowledge of Python or another programming language.
- You have good English language skills, as well as an independent working style and team spirit.
- Your working style is structured and goal-oriented.
**What you can expect**
- You will be part of our dynamic Methods & Science team at Voith Hydro GmbH & Co. KG and will take on exciting tasks with responsibility.
- By working independently from day one, you will experience a steep learning curve, allowing you to contribute and develop both professionally and personally.
- As an intern at Voith, you will have a 35-hour workweek with flexible working hours. You can accumulate flexitime and convert overtime into time off.
- We offer you an internship, ideally followed by a subsequent master's thesis in Heidenheim, at the headquarters of Voith.
