**Role Overview**

Join us as a Microscopist (m/w/d) and be at the forefront of pioneering surface analysis technology. In our fast-paced startup environment, you'll participate in the development of high-tech products in microscopy field, focusing on versatility and ultra-high-throughput data generation in flowcells.

**What you will do**
- Perform wetlab experiments involving DNA-origamis for R&D, optimization, and troubleshooting with immediate impact on product development.
- Independently and frequently operate customised and commercial microscopy platforms for acquisition, analysis, and development of functionalized surfaces with variable form factors, materials, and specifications, with a focus on ultra-high-throughput data generation in flowcells
- Collaborate with researchers from other functional areas to further develop DNA origami nanostructures for biochip and microscopy use.

**Requirements**:

- BTA/CTA/B.Sc. with solid expertise in life science field or training as a technical assistant with strong background in microscopy, ideally in TIRF and/or super-resolution microscopy.
- Wet lab hands-on experience.
- Experience with various (quantitative) microscopy techniques is beneficial
- Having strong focus and reliability in executing experimental work in the laboratory.
- An independent, self-motivated working manner with the ability to communicate and work effectively in an interdisciplinary team
- A positive and open attitude combined with the willingness to learn new things and improvements
- Good time management
- Great English skills and good German skills
