Trade Documentary Specialist

**Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany**
**Duties and responsibilities**:
- 1. Process transactions for issuing of guarantees, amendment, cancellation, lodgment of claims and payments within the limit as per the credit policy.
- 2. Accurately process ordinary transactions relating to advising, amendment and cancellation of Import and Export Letters of Credit and ensure work accomplishment in strict compliance with the International Chamber of Commerce Rules and Bank's policies and procedures.
- 3. Deal with client on routing operational issues for advising of Import and Export Letters of Credit and handling of documents. Dispatch export letters of credit and related documents to clients and Banks.
- 4. Operate through ICBC Global Document System for international trade settlement business and trade finance transaction to facilitate the process with ICBC’s centralized process center.
**Qualifications and knowledge**:
- 1. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in foreign trade relating to guarantees, Import and Export Letters of credit.
- 2. High attention to details and the ability to multi-task.
- 3. Native German language skills and excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- 4. Possess knowledge of basic International Chamber of Commerce rules, understanding of Guarantees, letters of credit concepts and lending principles.
