As our Head (M/F/d) of Facility Management Europe you will lead people and the facility management business in order to optimize the value and efficiency of each asset in a sustainable way according to the property scope within C&A, and support the operational readiness of our assets over time.
Managing and developing the facility management competence you achieve the property scope and actively support succession planning whilst creating an environment where the C&A culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.
**Your responsibilities at C&A**
- Lead the development and implementation of best practice Facility Management throughout C&A as well as the Factility Management Service provider project and secure on-going development of Facility Management specifications to incorporate developing technology whilst being aware of changing business needs
- Ensure appropriate resources are available to manage all Facility Management related tasks for executing the business within the frameworks that are agreed
- Secure processes are in place to follow up and reporting measures in order to stay compliant with local and international legislation and C&A standards
- Provide input relating to cost and cost management, as well as processes including procurement strategy and organisation
- Facilitate Facility Management Benchmark (quality and cost) and the identification of learnings, thereby improving in-house knowledge and the performance of Facility Management
- Cooperate with C&A indirect procurement organisation to improve efficiencies/costs/equipment through coordinated supplier contract renewals and contract negotiations
**What we expect of you**
- Academic degree or professional qualification in Facility Management (or equivalent)
- Facility Management industry knowledge with minimum 3-5 years experience in a multi-unit Facilities Management organization, preferably in a high-volume retail sector
- Experience in an executive managerial position, with proven skills in developing people and providing support, coaching, training and giving career directions to others
- Proven project management and change management experience as well as experience working with sustainability and the environment
- Preferably broad expertise in sustainability in buildings, knowledge how to implement, measure and follow up on sustainability projects
- Ability to work confidently and clearly in English
