With the exceptional expertise in M&A, growth equity and IPOs/equity capital markets, our client has the industry intuition and an unrivalled track record of finding the right option for their clients.
To strengthen their office in Berlin, our client is looking for a strong Vice President M&A.
Tasks
- You work on a variety of corporate finance and M&A transactions at all stages from origination, execution to transaction closings
- You communicate regulatory, financial information and complex strategic issues in a clear, concise and relevant manner to assist and guide the decision-makers and key stakeholders in corporate finance transactions
- You supervise preparation of all materials, including models and valuations and Ensure quality of client deliverables by having a strong attention to detail
- You mentor and develop staff; analysts and junior associates
- You organize work process for the full team, manage workload and priorities of junior members
- You take full responsibility and ownership of all outputs from junior members
- You are not satisfied with the status quo, but actively design processes to ensure the most qualitative and efficient transaction process possible.
**Requirements**:
- You have completed a degree in economics or a comparable degree with outstanding success
- You have already gained 6-8 years of relevant professional execution experience at a bulge bracket, reputable boutique or corporate finance advisory firm/Big 4 with demonstrable M&A execution experience
- You have demonstrated experience with managing of day-to-day aspects of client relationships, transactions, and projects in the industrials sector
- You make decisions in uncertain contexts, with multiple unknown elements / variables, an important level of responsibility, a high level of risk and potentially a significant impact on the company
- You have strong analytical, conceptual and communication skills as well as a strong team spirit
- You are client focused and results driven
- You have excellent people skills and are able to effectively accompany discussions and negotiations even in complex situations and inspire your discussion partners
- You are highly organized and 100% reliable
- You have excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- You have excellent German and English language skills
