For our German office in Hanau, we are looking for a **Supply Chain Planner** As a **Supply Chain Planner**, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods from international suppliers to our Dutch warehouse whilst balancing between sales budget and available production capacity at factory level. This role involves demand and inventory planning, coordination with Sales & Marketing teams and suppliers/factories and continuous process optimization / analysis to support business growth and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will have the following tasks: **Demand Planning & Forecasting**: - Analyse historical sales data & forward orderbook vs sales companies forecasts to build a demand. - Responsible for maintaining a continuous availability of core products, ensuring a 'Never Out of Stock' position through proactive inventory planning and supply coordination. - Close collaboration with sales and product teams to align forecasts with business objectives in order to improve planned stock levels. **Inventory Management**: - Monitor stock levels. - Optimize inventory to balance availability and cost efficiency. - Manage stock levels in line with sales plans. - Proactive internal approach to prevent and manage close out / obsolete stock - Procurement Coordination: - Liaise with purchasing and inbound logistics to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment. **Logistics & Distribution**: - Project related support if required **Process Improvement**: - Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain and propose solutions. - Implement best practices and digital tools to enhance planning accuracy. **Reporting & Analysis**: - Maintain KPIs related to inventory turnover, service levels, and forecast accuracy. - Prepare regular reports for management review. **Who are we looking for?** Do you have a hands-on mentality, set clear priorities and goals, are you proactive and open to (sporting) challenges and communicative?
