Launched in February 2023, Sportradar’s Sports Virtualisation unit is at the forefront of innovation, developing cutting-edge technology that transforms traditional sports media consumption into dynamic, interactive experiences. Our solutions leverage the latest in computer vision technology to deliver real-time statistics overlays, virtual advertising integration, and skeletal tracking data for immersive recreations of sports events. These advancements are redefining how fans engage with sports, allowing for new and exciting ways to experience live games and events.

**THE CHALLENGE**:

- ** Collaborate with the Art Director**: Work closely with the Art Director to align on the visual direction, focusing on rendering high-quality concept graphics and UI elements tailored to sports-themed projects and data-driven visuals.
- ** Concept Graphics & Rendering**: Create visually compelling augmentation concepts and graphical assets, leveraging game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine for rendering realistic sports visuals, athletes, and dynamic environments.
- ** UI Design for Sports & Statistics**: Design polished UI elements for presenting sports data, statistics, and analytics in visually engaging and intuitive ways, ensuring seamless integration with rendered visuals.
- ** Iterative Design Workflow**:Develop and refine designs through an iterative process, incorporating feedback from the Art Director and sports analysts to enhance both visual impact and clarity of statistical information.
- ** Innovate in Sports Visualization**: Stay current with trends in rendering technology, sports graphics, and data visualization, integrating innovative techniques to create compelling storytelling through sports and statistics.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- ** Bachelor’s degree** in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- ** Proven experience**(3+ years) as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing design work, including examples of UI design, wireframes, prototypes, and user research.
- You worked with different creative tools and have a passion for sports and graphics.
- Excellent **visual design skills**with an understanding of color theory, typography, and layout.
- Proficiency in design tools such as **Figma**and **Adobe Cloud**.
- Strong understanding of **user**-**centered design principles**and **methodologies**.
- You can make quick sketches during brainstorming sessions to speed up iterations.
- You can familiarize yourself with **new sports**and identify the essential features and design language.
- For you, strong **teamwork**and **communication**skills are not just empty phrases.
- You have a good command of written and spoken **English**.
- You are a **creative mind**and are **willing**to **create** a variety of different **ideas**to not miss out on potential unique ones.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with motion **design**and **animation** for **UI**elements.
- Familiarity with **design systems**and **component libraries**.
