**Your Role**:
In this position you will join our multifaceted and driven Western European team. Based in Taufkirchen you will be working among 9 colleagues contribute to the overall goals of the European collection team. Working with the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) you will manage a portfolio of clients whom you will collaborate closely with regarding payment of invoices. In this role, you will interact internally and externally across functions. Contacting customers and internal services to identify problem's route and manage them in a timely and efficient manner. A high work ethic and professionalism allows you to appropriately represent the company to our customers. An analytical approach and enthusiasm for cross functional interactions will allow you to greatly perform within the role. Responsibilities include managing and reviewing aging reports, contacting business (B2B) clients regarding open and unpaid invoices, contributing to collections targets each month, individually and as a European team. You will also be discussing payment plans where needed, requesting write offs of aged/small amounts, issuing reminder letters & statements when needed. As a Credit & Collection Specialist you will also have the opportunity to participate in the continuous improvement of the team and processes through various projects.
**Who you are**:
- Experienced in credit collection or in a customer facing function.
- Proficiency in English and German are a must.
- Able to take initiative, think creatively and prioritize tasks.
- A true team member who brings a positive energy.
- Knowledge of SAP is helpful.
