Product Design Lead

We are looking for a **Product Design Lead (all genders) - Delivery Efficiency **who will be involved in the full product development cycle, from brainstorming product innovations, to running user testing and research sessions to designing globally used solutions.

Every day millions of decisions are made behind the scenes without our customers or our partners even noticing. The vision of the Delivery Efficiency tribe is to offer a hyperlocal, optimized delivery experience. We do this by constantly looking for ways to improve every single step of our delivery process, such as the assignment of an order to the best rider, the decision of notifying the restaurant and the rider of a new order at the right time, the automatic resolution of an unforeseen issue, and many others. You will support our cross-functional team in driving these constant improvements, and directly contribute to lowering both delivery times and cost.

**Your Mission**:

- Champion design thinking and user-centered data-driven design processes within an agile development mindset.
- Bring narrative of user needs to cross-functional teams, and contribute to the creation of outstanding experiences, incorporating best practices in UX and creating solid, engaging UX and UI patterns, while ensuring high business and user impact.
- Manage multiple work streams and varied stakeholders in a fast-paced, changing environment with cross-team dependencies; collaborating in the prioritization of initiatives, design reviews, and ensuring the quality of implementation meets design requirements.
- Mentor and empower product designers. Inspire, push creativity, challenge established thinking, and identify industry best practices for user experience, supporting improvement of craft, deliverables, communication, and professional growth.

**Your Heroic Skills**:

- 5+ years experience as a product design individual contributor, where you worked in direct collaboration with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders for implementation of designs.
- 1+ year experience as a Product Design Lead, bonus if you have managed other designers.
- Experience in defining user-centered data-driven processes, especially if you have experience integrating cross-functional partners into those processes.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly and concisely document plans and deliverables.

**Nice to Have**:

- Expertise in Figma, able to navigate Tableau, Google Analytics, or other analytics reporting tools to gather tracking data to inform design.
- Demonstrated excellence in Visual Design and Accessibility principles, and experience working with design system components, and contributing to the design system to help address component gaps.
- Experience working on a product spanning across multiple cultures / languages, and familiarity with large corporate software product and design development preferred.
