Responsibilities

At SDA, we are hiring AWS Solutions Architects to work with our team to design -level industrial automation systems and help our developers with best-practices to bring designs to implementation.
- Design and implement systems that are highly available, scalable and reliable on the AWS platform
- Implement security best-practices, governance processes and compliance mechanisms
- Work closely with developers to implement continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS
- Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS
- Build tools and processes to support the infrastructure and support development of infrastructure as a code
- Develop, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes on AWS
- Train and share Cloud/AWS knowledge within the team and ensure high quality of technical documentation

Anforderungen

Basic qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree with strong information technology focus
- Professional experience programming in Python, other similar object oriented-languages such as C++/C#/Java/Go/Swift/.Net/Ruby are a plus
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK
- Experience developing scalable multi-tier and multi-tenant microservice architectures
- Experience designing and implementing DevOps, DevSecOps, and/or MLOps
- Intercultural competence and fluent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred qualifications
- Experience in Industrial IoT / Industrial Software implementations
- Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing and firewalls
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with connectivity & protocols in manufacturing (MQTT, OPC UA)
- AWS Certification(s) such as Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro, SysOps Admin, Developer Associate
- Experience and interest in working with modern industrial IoT tech stack like REST API-Management, SSO, IT security
