**Your role**:
During your 6-month internship in Site management working with Healthcare, you will support us in understanding dissolution/permeation profile of small molecules drug discovery. As a Pharmacist seeking internship opportunity, you will be responsible for the hands-on execution of laboratory studies with a focus on in
- vitro dissolution/permeation studies.
You will provide and grow expertise in dissolution/permeation in vitro systems for early phase R&D projects, as well as validation of the model. Working collaboratively with interfaces, you will develop and conduct in vitro assays, analyze and evaluate critically data to design improvement studies to further our understanding of the in-vitro dissolution/permeation model and pharmacokinetics.
Responsibilities include: Design, execute and interpret in vitro assays to determine drug permeability prediction and improve dissolution /permeation model; Establishing qualitative correlation; Read and critically evaluate literature, lead or contribute to scientific publications.
**Who you are**:
- Pharmacist or Student of pharmacy with 2nd state examination, alternatively of applied pharmacy.
- Communication in both English and German
- Team spirit with exact and reliable way of working
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Pharmacist with physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) concepts and modeling understanding, and/or background in pharmacokinetics, dissolution/permeation
- Specific knowledge and hand-on experience in the following areas are highly desirable: DMPK concept and IVIV studies
