**About the Role**:We are looking for a Continuous Improvement (CI) -/ Lean Specialist (f/m/d) to join our supply chain team in Putzbrunn. In this role you will be the process owner of the regional CI system to improve the effectiveness of business & manufacturing processes as well as sustainment & governance of the processes.

This position will be located at our facility in Putzbrunn, Bavaria with work from home days possible as part of a hybrid arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.*

**Responsibilities**:

- Partner with supply chain, business and functional leaders to identify and prioritise improvement opportunities and initiatives and align resources for projects associated to regional improvement projects
- Support and lead the development and implementation of divisional training programs on improvement concepts/tools as needed
- Support the plant by building capabilities through coaching & mentoring employees in Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Support the execution of supply chain operating plan to deliver improvement in medium & long term strategy
- Organize CI reviews and be accountable for administration of all ideas being inputted to the CI system
- Support roll out of Lean Ops Model across functions
- Organize, prepare and facilitate plant governance process
- Be responsible for site system KPIs / supply chain improvement metrics as well as Local CI framework training (PSF, Projects)
- Act as key influencer of plant, business/functional leadership by identifying, prioritizing and resourcing strategic improvement initiatives
- Actively support efforts to benchmark with other external organizations as well as sharing best practices within and across divisions

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering and several years of experience in improving supply chain and business processes
- Six sigma green belt (black belt preferable) and/or equivalent lean certification
- Demonstrated expertise with a wide range of continuous improvement concepts and tools (Lean concepts, Six Sigma concepts, E2E Supply Chain Optimization, Production systems, Kaizen events, Scrum/Agile) within a supply chain environment
- Excellent project management skills - handling full range of projects in terms of size and complexity
- Strong influencing and problem solving skills - across facilities, functions and businesses
- Strong change management skills - able to help facilitate multiple teams through significant change
- Excellent communication skills - one-on-one, in front of a group and written
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional projects and partner with various functional and business teams
- Ability to coach, mentor & build CI capability in others
- Ability to travel 5%
