**What you will be doing**
With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to:
- Act as Export and Customs Manager (Ausfuhr
- und Zollveranwortliche/r) for Rolls-Royce Electrical and lead a team of specialists and coordinate 3rd party service providers.
- Ensure sanctions restrictions and export control regulations are considered at all stages of Rolls-Royce Electrical product planning and development
- Oversee and manage all customs activities for Rolls-Royce Electrical, ensuring compliance with German and international customs regulations
- Ensure all export and customs risks are proactively identified and managed within Rolls-Royce Electrical
- Ensure export control and customs processes are developed and implemented across the breadth of Rolls-Royce Electrical activities and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth and timely export control and customs clearance
- Monitor changes in export control and customs regulations and update company policies accordingly
- Conduct and support regular audits to ensure compliance with export control and customs laws and prevent potential risks
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all export control and customs documentation and transactions
- Provide expert advice and training to staff on export control and customs regulations and procedures
- Liaise with export control and customs authorities and represent the company in export control and customs-related matters
- Implement strategies to minimize customs duties and taxes, ensuring cost-effective operations

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Export Control, International Trade, Logistics, Tax, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in export control and customs management, preferably within the aerospace industry
- Proven experience in managing export control and customs compliance and import/export operations
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in export control and customs management software and Microsoft Office Suite
